It can handle hot water and cooling water with salt solutions as well.

The EPDM threaded rubber expansion joint  is weather-resistant, offers good gas tightness, resistant to attack by oxygen, U.V., ozone and extreme weather environments. The structure of the EPDM rubber expansion joint is seamless, it has a low permeation liner with PA textile cord mesh inside, Butyl rubberized reinforcement and EPDM, ozone proof, heat resistant cover.

Temperature range -40° C up to +100°C, temporarily up to +120°C. Electrically dissipative.
